“We are like butterflies who flutter for a day and think it is forever” -Carl Sagan
I’m not going to try to come up with a bunch of existential sounding bull to convince you that I’m someone great. What matters most to me is what I do with a camera-- it is what I feel the strongest connection to in my life. Our lives are fleeting and I seek to capture the present to preserve it for the future. Yet, I don’t believe in taking life too seriously and my smart assery overcomes me. It makes for some great borderline wildly inappropriate conversations and jokes that will bring us together in the weirdest of ways. I believe in individuality when it comes to the art of photography. There’s a whole world of colors and detail in the darkness that we tend to overlook because photography is art of painting with light. Funny enough, my best ideas spring to life in the middle of the night, usually with the moments I am slipping out of consciousness and letting my imaginative dream state take over. I wake, and I want to make what seems it could only be a dream, a reality. Most of the time I’m convinced my dreams were real, anyhow.
